Fractal Marketing
“Fractals are part of advanced mathematics and are the kind of shapes we see in nature. We can describe a right triangle by the Pythagorean theorem, but finding a right triangle in nature is a different matter altogether. We find trees, mountains, rocks and cloud formations in nature, but what is the geometrical formula for a cloud? How can we determine the shape of a dollop of cream in a cup of coffee?”
“Fractal geometry, chaos theory, and complex mathematics attempt to answer questions like these. Science continues to discover an amazingly consistent order behind the universe’s most seemingly chaotic phenomena.”
“Fractals have a quality of an infinitely recursive processes…they can be described with a recursive algorithm for infinite growth…they have no beginning and no end.”
To me, fractals are a good way to describe the Marketing Optimizor Methodology:
- Marketing has order and structure behind what on the surface, to outsiders, looks only like a pretty graphic.
- The chaos that underlies the internal process is not readily apparent to those simply seeing the end result.
- A recursive process of testing, adjusting, and testing is a major component of the Marketing Optimizor Methodology.
- The recursive successful algorithms used to drive efficient marketing results in infinite growth.
- Marketing is not an event, or a finite activity; it is a process that has no end.
